Since April 2011, I have been in Japan as a Monbukagakusho Scholar. I am enrolled in the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Tokyo, Japan as a Research Student (leading to PhD), majoring Japanese Language Education.
It might be mentioned that I have completed MA in Japanese Language Education from the same University.

Passed JLPT N1
I have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 (highest level of the test) exam held in December 2010. I am the one and only who passed JLPT N1 in Bangladesh so far (as of July 2011). The Japanese Universities Alumni Association in Bangladesh (JUAAB), organizer of the test in Bangladesh, honored me with the “Crest of Congratulations”.

Team from APU, Japan visited IML & Dept of IR, University of Dhaka
A Team from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) Japan led by Ms. INUI Sayako, Senior Admissions Counselor, visited the Dept. of Japanese Language, IML and the Dept. of International Relations on 02 January 2010. In a briefing session, they introduced the opportunities of studying at the APU. In both sessions there were very active interactions with students. In between, the Team met with Professor Dr. Delwar Hossain, Chairman of Dept. of IR.
